In a run down house in the Birkenau in Munich a tiny room can be found next to the entrance, like in many other family houses. It is the former guest bathroom, visible from outside through a small frosted glass window. This space is transformed into an office, furnished with filing cabinets, a table, chair and typewriter. Then the door is closed by a wall and the room can only be viewed through the small window in the yard. The inside usually remains dark. Only now and then a briefly flashing light source allows a glimpse of the chamber. The purpose of the office remains open. However, the seclusion and the style of furniture can be interpreted in a variety of possibilities. It could be a space for espionage, for employees of the State Security, the Third Reich etc. That not every visitor actually discovers the space is part of the concept and highlights the secrecy of the artwork.

In einem Abrisshaus in der Birkenau in München befindet sich, wie in vielen Einfamilienhäusern, neben dem Eingang ein winziger Raum, die ehemalige Gästetoilette, von aussen durch ein schmales Milchglasfenster einzusehen. Dieser Raum wird zu einem Büro umgestaltet, eingerichtet mit Aktenschränken, Tisch, Stuhl und Schreibmaschine. Danach wird der Zugang mit einer Wand verschlossen und der Raum ist nur noch durch das kleines Fenster im Hof einsehbar. Im Inneren bleibt es meist dunkel. Nur ab und zu lässt eine kurz aufleuchtende Lichtquelle einen flüchtigen Blick auf die Kammer zu. Der Bürozweck bleibt offen. Jedoch lassen die Verborgenheit und die Art der Möbel vielfältige Assoziationen zu. Es könnte sich z.B. um einen Raum für Spionage, für Mitarbeiter der Staatssicherheit, des Dritten Reiches oder anderes handeln. Dass nicht jeder Besucher den Raum entdeckt, ist Teil des Konzeptes und unterstreicht das Geheimnisvolle der Arbeit.
